Celebrating Compassion: Highlights from the 2024 WD Ball
On 13th July, the annual WD Ball hosted by the talented team at @jemweddingplanners took place at the elegant Novotel Perth Langley Park. Each year, this cherished event supports a different charity, and in 2024, the focus was on women’s safety, in partnership with the Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing.
A Night to Remember
The atmosphere was electric as guests arrived, dressed to impress and ready for an evening of mingling, dancing, and generosity. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the magnificent 100-candle display created by Chameleon Sand Candle, one of the event’s proud sponsors. The display not only added a magical touch to the evening but also symbolized the light of hope and solidarity in the fight against domestic violence.
Raising Awareness and Funds
The WD Ball wasn’t just about glamour; it was about making a tangible difference. The event featured a four-hour drinks package and delectable food that delighted everyone's taste buds as they enjoyed the evening's festivities. Guests also participated in an exciting raffle and a live auction, with exclusive items up for grabs, all to raise funds for the Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing.

The 2024 WD Ball was a resounding success, bringing together a community dedicated to creating positive change. We left the event with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to supporting victims of domestic violence. Together, we are stronger, and together, we can make a difference.
