Lighting Up the Magic Coat Ball

This past weekend, we were thrilled to be part of the 5th Annual Magic Coat Foundation Ball presented by The Agency—a truly magical evening dedicated to transforming the lives of children in need. Held in Perth, this spectacular event has earned its reputation as one of the city's most impactful and anticipated charity nights, and this year did not disappoint. The evening raised an incredible $125,000 to support The Magic Coat Foundation's invaluable work with children and families facing challenging circumstances.

A Night to Shine: Our Sand Candles on Display

As proud supporters of the Magic Coat Foundation, we were excited to create a special ambiance at the event with a breathtaking 130-piece display of our signature flameless sand candles. The soft, flickering glow of our sand candles set the perfect mood for a night filled with hope, generosity, and community spirit. Our unique candle setup served not just as decor, but as a symbol of the light The Magic Coat Foundation brings to so many young lives.

In addition to the stunning display, we also contributed 250 sand candles for the live auction, which raised an impressive $2,000 for the foundation. We were honored to see our products play a part in supporting such a worthy cause.

About The Magic Coat Foundation

Founded by Di Wilcox, The Magic Coat Foundation was born out of a desire to help children navigate the complex emotions of anger, sadness, and anxiety they experience daily. Through a unique program that uses the analogy of a bright yellow coat, children learn to manage their emotions and build resilience with the help of characters that live in the coat’s pockets. Each character represents a strategy that helps children feel calmer, more confident, and caring towards others.

The foundation works tirelessly across Western Australia in schools, hospitals, foster care, prisons, and other community settings, offering workshops and resources that empower children and their families. The Magic Coat’s work extends beyond Australia, with adapted versions of the program now available in the Middle East, bringing hope to children affected by conflict.
